My love and I have been thinking about doing volunteer work in south America. We wanna go help children, but are worried about making things worse. We don't want to involve ourselves in a program that is spreading the American lie. We know that humanitarian actions can rob folks of their traditions, turn tribes into ghetto, and create more babies in places where there are already more people than the land can support.
