I have been watching a very good series on TV BBC4 about Mr Putins relations with the West .It as produced in 2012. You can clearly see a different person dare I say it quite amicable at times as he had good relationships with former American Presidents like George Bush on topics like "The War on Terror". So there's no hope that he might see the light and call off this madness, should Putler die and he inherits the power suddenly? So what about the other possibility? Would Patrushev possibly even start escalating things further, if he becomes the head honcho? Is he batshit enough to go all the way? What could be expected of him? I think he was actually always a cynic. He made a parody saying that he divorced because he was always soooooo busy dealing with matters of state, that he didn't even have time to see his wife. False! That was in 2013 and he already had a mistress since at least 2008. This guy has spent his life pretending to be what he's not.
Putin having a nervous breakdown is bad news. I am hoping that Putin has the wisdom to see the bigger picture and realize that a defeat in a conventional war is still superior to the stalemate of a nuclear holocaust . A nuclear holocaust wiping out Europe, U.S and Russia totally is the ultimate loser deal for these nations. It will take centuries for the world economy to recover and put pressure on other uninvolved countries too and stall their development plans for a major span of time till normality returns. It is important to keep diplomatic channels open to prevent worse case scenarios. Hopefully Putin will step down and allow more prudent and healthier successors to take over.
I noticed it when I saw him clutching a table, either to stop his hand shaking or he was in pain, maybe he knows it will soon be the end of this life for him and thinks he will go down in history as peter the great number 2.
IMO he is in poor health but is acting out being still the strong man of Russia by invading Ukraine. He cannot cope with weakness, especially his own. This makes him extremely dangerous.
