Honestly no one cares that you collect and listen to metal on tape or vinyl. I recently met a 21 metalhead bragging to me about how its one of the "truest" forms to listen to metal. I told him I'm 31 and left that technology in 1998. Honestly I feel like the Metal community in the States is toxic. I guess I am a victim of elitism. Its funny I used to be like that on here when i first started posting here 12 years ago! I get why people called me out on this forum now for how elitist I was and I apologize. I personally dont care anymore because the energy is just not worth it.
I love records and cassettes as I think analogue sounds the nicest The only METAL I have on cassette is Metallicas first album from 1983... Its a poland release... NO DOLBY and it sounds goregous!!!! -- Like they left it analogue... Its warm and sounds super!! I would say thats thier BEST album thier first!!
I personally still like music on cassette but I don't have many left to hear anymore. I still love my Onkyo cassette deck and it's part of my system to this day.
I now have 2 other metal groups on cassette 1) Sea Hags - First and only album 2) Slaughter - First album
Jmt listen to music any way you want to ..don’t ever let anyone make you feel as though you are doing something wrong by living the way you love especially when enjoying Music
Dunno about that, but I think pot's a whole lot less satisfying if it hasn't been cleaned on a really cool album cover.
Times have moved on, records, tapes, video tapes, all that stuff takes up too much room, I don’t see why when you can have it all on a device at the touch of a button.
