Lots of people are multi-racial. I know people usually point out the fact that I'm mixed when it's convenient. Or when they are trying to neutralize my blackness so they won't feel different from me and insecure.

Color-blindness as an ideology is sheer convenience. But what tha fuck am I talking about? All ideology is convenience.

 

Skin color is an illusion anyway. Why does it matter what the color of somebody's skin is?

really though, just another president. i hope he does better than the last. i have no personal stake or pride in his color, so i don't really care.

 

Don't get me wrong, I do hope he proves everyone wrong and does turn things around.

But reality and common sense just say totally different.

 

let people have their joy and excitement. both are hard enough to come by. this is a big deal for a lotta people, i kinda get a warm glow from their happiness. hard times are upon us and getting worse. a little party and pride won't hurt anyone, not really.
