I haven't been into video games or even played them since my early teens, but I have nostalgic feelings looking back on some of the games I used to play as a kid (mostly Nintendo).

What video games do you have fond memories of?

    A few of mine...

Contra (I still remember the code for infinite lives after all these years)
    Double Dragon I & II
    Donkey Kong
    Mike Tyson's Punch Out
    Zelda: The Adventures of Link
    The Goonies II
    River City Ransom

These were all games for the original Nintendo system.

Any particular favorites you guys have from your childhood?

I used to love "Elite" which played on the 48k ZX Sinclair Spectrum, which was contemporary to the Commodore 64.At school, you were either a Spectrum person or a Commodore person.

Elite was a black and white wire frame graphic spaceship game. You had to navigate star systems and trade goods, including narcotics and arms,to earn money so you could upgrade your craft and get things like cloaking devices. You docked into space station, manually controlling the rotation and movement of your craft as you entered.Enemy craft were always about, and you had to take them out.

Once in the space station you were presented with a list of goods to buy and trade, and then you could buy things to update your own craft.

The wire frame graphics were pretty smooth and the gameplay good,it felt real and exciting to my teenage imagination.

I'm not into computer games anymore.

My parents bought us a lot of systems and games, I remember a lot.

    Atari:
    Pole Position
Can't remember the names but there was an Egyptian game where you flew as a falcon.
Some weird alien game where you tried to collect pilots but aliens were there too.
    Had a submarine hunting game.
    WW1 style biplane shooter

    NES:
    Battletoads
    Mario series
    Air Combat
    Stealth
    Double Dragon
    Alien 3

    SNES:
Secret of Evermore - this took me years to finish I remember one day I found my SNES and decided to play it and finished it really easily. I spent several years though building up my HP to an almost impossible amount where I couldn't die. Haha.

I remember this mall where one store sold Atari games but this was well after NES was out and with the desert falcon I remember getting it and daddy and I had potato scallops.. It's almost like I can still remember the smell of deep fried and chicken salt from that afternoon.

Battletoads was the shit. Though I could never pass the flying part lol.
The soundtrack though. That was like electro metal, I bet it paved the way for what I listen to today. Also doom soundtrack.
