This thread is a spin off from my PDF thread I have started a new thread on video editing software. A good video editor? If you want a professional one, Adobe do one for $40/month. Price gouging goes on in Australia when it comes to IT.
It all depends on what your goal is. For example, glue video, cut, add music. For each of these purposes, you can find a good video editor, even online.
I would like to learn how to create video clips and slideshows. The ability to convert videos to different formats would also be a nice bonus.
Two free video editors that I know of. 1. Shotcut: Shotcut - Home 2. Olive: Olive - Professional Open-Source Video Editor While I've played with both, it's not enough to make a recommendation. There are Youtube tutorials for them.
Recently, I started using Movavi's video editor, because in Shotcut I did not find all the necessary functions that I needed in order to create beautiful interesting videos for my YouTube channel. You can check over here and read more information about this video editor. I liked the fact that with it I can shoot vertical videos and set the appropriate aspect ratio for uploading videos to YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. This contributes to the development of my blog fully.
