Yeah, mixing the two will give you a buzz. Euphoria, and a desire to get up and do something. Not like speed, but mellower. The problem is, you'll want to do it again...and again. I don't mean to preach, but 15 is really too young to start down that road. But it's your life.

It doesn't sound plausible to me that a licensed pharmacist would jeopardize a career and 6 figure salary in this way, but I guess you can find unethical assholes in any profession. I can't say I've never mixed the two drugs, because I have. And it's an addictive combo. Burt Reynolds went down that road. He tried to kick it once alone, and he said he spent 3 days under a cold shower, because he felt as if his skin was burning. And if you get to the point to where you're taking several at once, you're also OD'ing on Acetominophen.

thats a pharmacy technician, NOT a pharmacist. a pharm tech is the bitch of the pharmaceutical industry. all they generally do, for the most part, is count pills. you also are not legally allowed to handle just any drug if you're a pharmacy tech, and have to take tests to reach different levels and be able to handle ever more controlled drugs. pharmacists have a lot of schooling to take care of and have a high stress, boring, but VERY well paying job. they generally make less initially than doctors, but don't have to worry so much about all sorts of bullshit bills to pay such as malpractice insurance, so in the end a pharmacist is making pretty close to the same amount yearly as a general practitioner. at least, this is how i understand it - this explanation may be a bit faulty.

at any rate, calling a pharmacy tech a pharmacist is about like calling a nurse a surgeon. they're not the same thing.......

and yes, there've been a few times i've mixed opiates and alcohol....but that doesnt make it generally "safe," especially since tolerance (both to alcohol and opiates) counts for a LOT. i'd like to say that taking one or two low dosage pills with a glass of wine or a beer (wine seems to work best for mixing with pills, in my experience, as it tends to be the most sedating alcoholic beverage to begin with...beer is good too, but i wouldnt drink liquor while using pills) is safe....but i can't say that, because it ISNT. alcohol seriously potentiates opiates, which are dangerous to begin with. also, nearly all opiates come with large amounts of APAP as well, and taking a few pills with liquor will cause a SERIOUS load on your liver.

its just best to avoid mixing the two. actually, as much as i love them, its just best to avoid opiates at all. like i said, i've done them a few times....not enough to be addicted, and always spaced out pretty well....but....still.....i've not tasted true addiction to them, but i've seen it, and if i had a constant supply i could VERY easily see myself going down that path all too easily....

    it scares me sometimes....

i dunno. do whatever you want, i dont honestly care. im trying to give good advice, but bad things happen to people all the time, and i sometimes don't even care if something happens to someone i know unless i love them, so some stranger on the internet getting in trouble....fuck em, i couldnt care less. doesn't mean its not sad, and doesnt mean i dont want to try and help them avoid it, but whatever.

anyhow, yeah.....i'd say don't do it...but if you do, use very strict moderation.

My friend just got six teeth pulled and they gave him a 25 ct. bottle of vicodin 7.5 es.
The first night he took seven in the course of three hours, decided that that wasn't cutting it and got hisself a bottle of vodka.
He was pretty out of it.
