you are immature dude no, first off, I don't like realistic racing games much to begin with second off, it's an overrated piece of crap 3 was better
AGREED exactly what I meant by the immature shit and no, but you got the sexually depraved right (that's kinda by choice-ish though)
Nintendo products are mostly for nerds. And Dvds are way better than VHS. But yeah people who want good games buy PSPs. Nerds get DSs. Thats how it goes. And there is not a single good gamecube game that you can't get for ps2.
PSP has crap games so does DS, but still I prefer DS, but wouldn't buy either unless I was going to be going on a 90 hr bus ride or some shit Gamecube has the zelda and mario games (as previously mentioned) a few other relaly cool games (can't think currently, but yeah ) and best of all Eternal Darkness <3
dvd's for sure. Id glady pass on wearing out movies and spendng a half hour fast fowarding to find a part in a movie.
the only good thing about vhs is the price like dvd great quality bluray probs even better, i am really surprised betamax hasnt been mentioned, i dont have a clue but parents and anyone i talk to say that beetamax was beta quality but vhs won due to beta advertising, btw i like ps ova nething, but i really do like sega megadrive and old arcade games like pacman donkey kong, i play atari, probs im wierd for 13 years old but wtf, where the hip way gone get out there and live with nature lol cya all
No ones mentioned you can rent dvds FOR FREE from the library and back them up for less than a dollar. VHS is old news. And for the record I agree with the above, SNES is king.
I think dvd's are good for avid movie collectors who can appreciate bonus features and what not. I don't don't mind getting dvds for new movies, since they dont come out on vhs now but for me? I prefer to "look cool" and get VHS for less than $1 from the douchebags who are giving away they're old VHS tapes and replacing them with $30 DVDs. Yes, it's VHS buyers that are in it for the sake of looking cool.
Personally I like 35mm film w/ a dolby DTS soundtrack the best... video just doesn't have the same feel... but if i had to pick, i'd say DVD picture and audio quality are far superior to VHS. - your friendly non-union indie film projectionist
Im not even reading the rest of this topic, because your right. Your freaking 16 (and im 17) and i had quite the VHS collection when i was a kid, even though it sucked having to update my collection to DVD, its worth it, DVDs last longer, qualitys better, special features, chapters. I have empire strikes back on VHS and the quality is so bad, color is missing in a lot of scenes, and when i watched it on dvd (still the original, bootleg baby) it was like watching a different movie.
I disagree... in some cases the older formats are superior. With music i actually prefer analog audio to digital any day (with the exception of cassettes, most magnetic media just sucks.)..... which in fact proves my case... I'd take an LP over a cassette any day. - your friendly non-union indie film projectionist
DVDs have replaced tapes because they break, skip and whatnot easier and people have to spend more to replace them. Big corporations just want our money, duh... So I agree with you, man: VHS is much better.
