My guy is very hot, and turns me on, we have a great sex life.
He can get me very wet and turned on.

ive noticed though that while we are going at it, i end up getting really dry.. even though i am enjoying it and still want more, he has to use his spit to help as lube

why am i getting so dry mid session?

There are several things that could be going on with your body that will cause you to become dry right in the middle of having a lovely intercourse session. Some can be eliminated depending upon your age. if you are approaching, in the midst of, or passed through menopause this condition isn't uncommon with most women. You will have to keep lubricant beside the bed the rest of your sex life. Other things that affect vaginal dryness during intercourse are:
    • Stress. Covid worries or something else may be too much on your mind. Find a way to relieve any or all stress from your life including worrying about becoming dry right in the middle of sex.
    • Cigarettes. It's easier said than done but if you smoke, stop.
    • Alcohol consumption. Put a kibosh on those Pina Coladas. In other words don't consume any more alcoholic drinks.
    • Allergies. It might be something you use after using the toilet, laundry detergent for your underwear, body lotions, or bath soap.
    • Frequent douching. If you are doing this stop. The vagina is like a self cleaning oven. It gets hot when turned on and cleans itself regularly.
    • Medicines such as antihistamines, birth control, antidepressants, asthma inhalers, or anti-estrogen agents like tamoxifen or toremifene. If you are taking anything like this you may have to change to a different medicine or use sex lube always.
    • Being at the beginning or end of your menstrual cycle. If you stay dry even after your period something else is wrong.
    • Or you may be pregnant. Pregnancy changes the women's estrogen production which is what keeps the vagina wet during sex.
In any case it is best to consult your doctor instead of asking for remedies on an internet forum. We can give you suggestions as I have but a doctors exam may reveal an issue and provide a cure. Keep a good quality water based lubricant beside your bed for now and always. Then get professional advice on your concern.
