Very sad today

Hey, I never said there is anything wrong with getting a new pet for the company or whatever.. it's just wrong to think it'll replace to old one totally. I've had pets all my life and I still think back to those who've died with fond memories.. I would never buy a similar looking pet just for the sake of replacement.. plus give her some time to get over it, I mean, her pet just died this night and you're already talking about replacement!

 

I've always wondered if the meat of a guinea pig is referred to as pork. This has plagued my brain for several seconds now.

 

There are several cultures that eat guinea pig but I guess it is just referred to as 'guinea pig' to avoid confusion.

 

everything is destructible and ultimately replacable.... well maybe not completely replacable

Seamonster, eventually I will get another guinea pig, but certainly not to replace Sgt. P. And I'm not ready for a new one right now, my heart is completely broken. But I see what you're trying to say, and I thank you for it. But I have to correct you, guinea pigs do have really, really individual personalities, same as anyone else. It's a misconception that they're dumb.... they're actually quite smart.

Everyone, thanks for it all, it's really nice Pigs and I had the best night last night, we were chilling for about an hour and he just kept cuddling up to me and kissing my face... I know it's because he knew he was going to die, but it still meant a lot to me.

I think I'm going to go out for a while, maybe go to the mall or grab a video. I need a change of venue and maybe some fresh air. Much love, everyone
