Vertical hood piercings???

The VCH lays directly on the clitoral shaft. So yes, it does come directly in contact with your clit. For myself direct clitoral stimulation = orgasm. My masterbation techniques changed somewhat..but my orgasms are much quicker...For the first few weeks I was so "aware" of it although it did not hurt..The initial pain of the piercing was gone in 2 seconds and it felt like I had knicked myself shaving..tight pants took on a whole new meaning of fun.

If an HCH is properly placed the CBR should rest right below the hood ,on the clitoris so to speak. Since I have both I have a circular barbell in my HCH and it sits a bit differently because of the curved barbell in the VCH..Does that make sense?? If you are seriously considering having it done go speak to your piercer and have him check you out. A lot of the sites talk about the "Q-tip" test...if the tip fits under the hood you are a good candidate..Not all women are suited for a VCH, although an HCH is pretty much ok for eceryone.

If you decide to do it you will love it..I looooove mine...

thanks for the info! so does the hch go just through the hood skin flaps and what not above all that ligamental stuff you can feel under the skin, or does it go under that too? did that make any sense lol?? please, no one flame me for this, but if i do it, i will do it myself. i've done nearly all my piercings myself, and had no issues with it, and it makes the piercing process intensely personal. i often pierce to commemorate important milestones for me, and i used to be a cutter, so it seems that piercing has taken its place... not sure how good that is, but the pain of piercing myself is cathartic to me. so anyways... sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread... i just wanted some info on where it would actually go through. or does anyone know where i could go to get really good info on genital piercings, maybe with pictures or diagrams?

 

The HCH goes through the hood only. The part that you can pinch without feeling the clitoral shart..If it is done deep, under the clitoral shaft, it is called a Triangle. That is a very intense piercing and I would not suggest doing it yourself. I've read many stories about why women get piercings and most are to commerate milestones in their lives..reclaimng their self/bodies is very common.

thank you SO much! i know a lot of sites, and a lot of people in the body mod community are SO against self-piercing. and i get why, it's easy to fuck stuff up if you don't know what you're doing, if you use safety pins and aren't clean. but i worked in a hospital for years, i know what i'm doing with a needle, and i always order professional piercing needles (it's nice you can order those online now!) and proper jewelry. but it seems that a lot of people have gone the way of outright snobery, and it's quite unsettling. like, body mods started as a way of expressing yourself, and now it's just another say of inhibiting freedom, what with people looking down on you just for wanting to DIY. lol... sorry, got on my soapbox a little. but thanks, i will definitely check out the sites you shared!

 

Yep..piercing snobs..there are a lot out there..DIY is not for me, but I see quite a lot of stories from people who do..the negative attitude is because of knowledge/safety/sanitation reasons . So many teenagers do it for each other and share safety pins then put it on You-Tube for the world to see how stupid they are..real smart...

Okay Lol I Just Got My Vertical Hood Piercing Today So Yeah Im Really Excited . The Thing Is Tho There Is A Big Difference Btwn The Hood Piercing And The Clit Piercing . The Hood Is The Skin Over The Clit And It Can Not Cause Nerve Damage At All . The Place I Went To Doesnt Do Clit Piercings Bc Most Women Arent anatomically Suited For The 14 Gauge Jewelry They Use And Bc Its Dangerous . I Was bugging Out Bc I Was Madd Nervous And It Too Him Like 15 Mins To Get Me To Stop Hysterical Laughing Bc I Was Nervous . Basically For The Vertical Hood Piercing All They Do Is Stick A Metal Tube Under The "Hood" (Over Top Of The Clit) And Then Just Stick The Needle In It Top Of The Tube So It Slides In Easy . Like You Felt The Pinch But It Wasnt Excrutiating Pain Like You Might Have Herd . Then He Put The Jewelry In And I Was Done . It Doesnt Hurt Afterwards U Just Feel It There , And You Get Wet Easy . LOL . But I Full Reccomend It And I Love It . =]
