wo0t...I've been a vegitarian for almost a month and a half. I feel alot healthier too. It doesn't really bother me as much when other people eat meat, as long as they don't shove it in my face.

yeah it doesnt bother me if people eat meat because its up to them what they want to eat and everything. i wouldnt be like how can you eat that and put people down because they choose to eat meat, but it was just then that i realized i really dont want meat anymore and that i dont need it at all. im glad i became a vegetarian!!! :)

I remeber being a vegetarian about 10 yrs ago for maybe 18 months. During that time I had a son (#6 out of 7 kids) He was the only one who would eat tofu. My ex-husband was worried the baby wouldn't grow enough or be healthy. The baby was born at home and weighed 8 lbs 8ozs.
Over the yrs 2 of my older kids have tried being a vegetarian... actually my 20 yr old son still is.
But it is strange, how when ya ask someone whats for dinner and all they tell ya is the meat item. Or if you go on a family picnic or B-B-Q and every
one brings hotdogs, burgers, chicken and marshmellows. It's as if they never
heard of a salad...veggie or fruit, or roasting corn-on-the-cob
