    yes,
so tomorrow i am headed out to my parent's place,
where they are preparing a standard Mem. Day BBQ,
with all kinds of meat things, and i am planning on
bringing my own veggie stuff, just to mix it up :)

any suggestions?? i mean... veggie BBQ???
i need something to eat while i sit and watch the Indy 500...

Mushrooms, onions, cherry tomatoes, broccoli squash and anything else you want all skewered on a big kebab, spiced with your choice of sauces and seasonings (teriyaki sauce, chili powder, bbq sauce, garlic, whatever you want), wrapped in foil and thrown on the grill the same time as the meat. (don't worry, the foil will keep the meat juices out and the veggie goodness in)

You might wanna bring extra though, cause people will probably want some.

Monkey-boy, you're probably right . So is that an offer to make a veggie kabob for me, so I can try and decide which is better? :D

If you are willing to pay shipping, sure, I'll send you a texas style kebab. Simply specify whether you want it wuss, spicy, or extra spicy and send me money for airmail (just a guess but probably around $30 US for the fastest) And I will mail you a hermetically sealed (using state-of-the-art 'microwave' technology) veggie kebab.

    seriously

$30???!? What do you think I am, rich???

Hehehehe j/k, I don't have a PO Box here anyway... and I doubt any food can be imported just like that, if anything, the US military guys would grab it, thinking it's a meat kebab... then probably throw it away, lol ;).

But thanks for the offer :). I'm gonna steal your recipe, though, and use it at my family's weekly BBQs this summer :). I know they'd all freak out if I didn't eat anything...

I brought a bunch of vegan burgers to a barbeque that my friend had on friday. It was a great barbeque, half of us were vegan/vegetarian and she actually had separate grills for meat products and non-meat products. It was really nice.
