Vegemite and Cheese Shapes

Its about fookin time.

Why the hell didnt they think of this 30 years ago.

Life long fan of BBQ shapes, the original ones not the bullshit new and improved ones

But these will top that

 

I like the cheese ones dipped in marmite... I could have told them years ago about these..

No one listens...

 

What is Vegemite? - I've heard that it's popular with Men at work and that you can have it in a sandwich (or is that just 'Down under?)

 

It's not unlike marmite wolf.. you either love or hate it..

 

Ah, so I see (from posts above) - I like a bit of Marmite now and then ..... I suppose it's the Vegan alternative?

Vegemite is really hard to come across in my neck of the woods these days. Perhaps you and I can work something out?

My husband loves the stuff. I'd love to be able to surprise him with some.

 

Yeah, I never dared to try the chocolate, that just sounded not right.....but I might now that I think about it

 

Marmite IS vegan..

Those words annoyed me.

 

I want to try Vegemite--I always see it in the Aussie section at the market but I have heard that the flavor is a bit controversial and it is pretty pricey.

 

Is it like nutella? Haven't had that either though... sigh. I should probably try vegemite.

 

I think Marmite is okay. I don't feel very strongly either way. It's a good source of B12 for vegans.
The "love it or hate it" thing is, I shouldn't have to tell anyone, a marketing campaign. But people seem to take it seriously.

That's funny.. you ever licked an oxo cube? Imagine it concentrated.. that's marmite of vegemite.. I don't see the difference in either other than vegemite is more expensive.. but like nutella..... Nooooooooooo

 

It's very very salty, but goes great on toast with avocado.

 

I don't like Nutella, so I probably won't like Vegemite.

 

These are awesome for making a light snack either on their own, or with a spread of cream cheese and a slice of cucumber. They are not saturated with salt either.

 

Had a look for thes shapes in the supermarket today and unfortunately they didn’t have them.

For A Mid-Afternoon Snack I Just Cooked A Big Beef Pattie.....Spread A Layer Of

Vegemite On It.....Then Topped It Off With Grated Cheese......(runs like hell).....
