I was going to say that too, except a lot of people like to disbelieve it and argue with it, so I thought I'd point out things that were more... not arguable, lol.

I'm curious if its just a general meat eaters vs vegetarian comparison or not. I'd wager that vegetarians tend to be more health conscious than their meat eating brothers, so i dont think a simple comparison can acurately show the difference in healthiness between a meat eating diet/vegetarian diet. The standard American also eats far more meat that is recommended. Ultimately, any simple comparison would be like comparing an obese person to a healthy individual who goes to the gym 5 days a week. Maybe thats a tad too extreme, but you get the idea.

Okay, well ... consider the fact, then, that no study (regardless of its circumstances, variables, and controls) has ever shown the inverse to be true, or has even shown the two lifestyles to be comparable.

probably. But who knows why exactly that is. Animal rights groups are going to pump a lot of money into studies and publish results that are beneficial to them. Will meat companies put a lot of money into studies about which is healthier? nope, 97% or so of America is omnivore, they dont need to promote themselves. And even if they did and they came back with favorable results, vegetarians are going to disregard the results because of the close ties to the meat industry.

I was not trying to get anywhere with it-Nor would I argue with anyone on here or in many other things in life-THERE'S nothing to win.
My Intent (AGAIN) was and is to ask you to give thanks for the GREENS you Eat.
But in return it seems most of you are going on and on how Plants have no emotions or feelings or Spirit.
So then after I put up a noted Scientist and researchers work your... calling it all bullshit.
Where is your back up material from a qualified professional????
Are you guys actually reading what your writing here?
What's your beef (oh Excuse me) with anyone asking you to think about the plant world as you do the animal world.
OMFG is that so hard for you people to do?

It's 90 percent, according to Zogby, and the livestock industry DOES pay for studies. Recent ones: dairy and weight loss (seen the ads?) Egg Board, Cattlemen's Beef Association partially paid for a study backing up Atkins. (Ketosis does work, to a point. They see this great weight loss and stay but the plateau goes on endlessly.).
Reasonable people should always question where study info/funding comes from, no matter what their diet!
