Vegans - Do You Eat Bread?

My current gf is vegan. She likes Dave's Killer bread. It's whole wheat. So yes some vegans do eat certain types of bread.

 

I just got out of a vegan relationship.... She liked bread.

 

I think the cut off for many vegans is if the animal feels pain and fear. This is why many are fine with eating fish and not cows. They don't see fish as understanding. Yeast does not "know" it can die so many vegans are probably fine with it.

 

It's been scientifically proven and documented that fish feel pain, so I call bullshit on anyone who wants to use that justification.

 

No vegans eat fish.

Some "vegetarians" do. Also called pescatarians I think..

 

Yeah, pescatarian. I often refer to myself as "vegetarian, but I eat fish" so that I don't have to explain what pescatarian means. But then vegetarians get snippy and tell me I'm not a real vegetarian, and blah blah blah.

 

It's better than eating everything. I don't mind if people eat fish. Some people take diet more personal. People eat what's right for them.

 

It's hard to accept that humans are natural born predators. I always root for the herbivore dinosaurs, not the T. Rexes and velociraptors.

I was always for triceratops. Roar Wroar! I'm triceratops.

 

He was cool too. ankylosaurus too. And diplodocus. the raptor is cool too but I feel the Jurassic park movies have kinda made him too popular. But he was a cool carnivore. The big ones were just big meat heads.

heh, i don't get snippy : ) but i don't call it vegetarian. but i understand about the explaining bit.. i didn't know pescatarian was a term people didn't know.
then again it's not hard to explain is it?

"what's that?"
"someone who doesn't eat meat but does eat fish"
