The other day I found this corporate propaganda article in Forbes website. Plant-Based Butter Is Taking Over The Dairy Aisle Why are they calling it vegan butter? It is just margarine. The article says sales are on the increase. I thought margarine sales were on a downward spiral and have been for some years. Who spreads margarine on toast anymore?
I am not opposed to smearing margarine on bread, and many fellow dutchies aren't either. I agree though, the name should not be confused/equated with butter.
