Anyone out there? Might be nice to talk. I'm hoping to find/form a commune of lovely peoples. If it takes a while to get land we can always guerrilla garden! Post or PM?
Not in BC but starting a commune in Ontario. Since you are not yet a member and can't PM, you can send me an e-mail at N.L.eco.community@gmail.com I haven't been to your area in a while but from what I have heard, land prices in BC have gone up so much that the only way that anyone can aford to buy decent agricultural land is to spend a lifetime working at a high paying job or win a lottery.
The hippest place in that area is Denman Island. But the hippies there bought their land 40 years ago. It's hard to afford it now.
Vancouver is extremely expensive. I was homeless there because a student exchange program ran out of funds. I'm willing to talk about my experience.
