I just rented this movie, and it was actually really good. I thought it looked stupid when it forst came out, but i saw the beginning at a friends house and decided to rent it sometime, and it is actually really good. I dont know why I like it so much, I just thought it was one of the collest movies. I was upset at the end though. That was a sad part. What do you guys think of it?
It looked pretty stupid to me, you can't, and I mean you CAN'T put Frankenstein in a movie with werewolves or Dracula. They mixed way too much shit together, I bet the plot of the average porno is better.
It was decent film for what it was, a ridiculous, mindless special effects bonanza, the kind of film that tends to be released during the summer. In other words, it was a decent popcorn movie. I had fun watching it. I wouldn't say it's a great film even in comparison to other movies of its type, because it failed to keep me engaged in that world throughout. There was more than one instance in which I thought, "That was dumb," or "Dracula is just SOOO cheesy," or "Wow, that was some terrible CG."
I had the misfortune of seeing this movie. It had grounds of being a good movie, but it looks to me as if they made it, because they wanted to sell a computer game afterwards. It's not the worst movie I've seen, but being one of those people who actually enjoys watching vampire flicks I was left disapointed. Hollywood always makes a pig's ear out of this kind of theme, because they know that with the right marketing they will always draw some suckers in. Peter Cushing will be turning over in his grave.
