Obviously. And that goes for adults too. But it is no replacement for medical vaccination, especially if one is travelling to another country.
"it's common sense" isn't a valid argument. it's a misdirection "it is the common wisdom of the moment" is a more appropriate thing to say as, in the 1950's additives were considered to be very healthy. stop with the sleight of hand and bring hard data.
If I was traveling to another country where disease is rampant, then I might consider vaccination from whatever is prevalent in that particular country. However, I believe mega doses of certain vitamins work even better, and are safer, than vaccination.
I love this thread. I love seeing Rat getting pwned by so many members at the same time. But still... do remember, you are all merely sheeple. Fail-proof!
I don't feel I am getting "pwned" because, though I am not always right on everything, I feel that, for the most part, what I am saying is right. People can use their government-funded pharmaceutcal company propaganda to convince me of what they would like me to believe, but it does not sway me in the very least and really all I can do is laugh to myself.
I don't think that people are trying to sway you with their "government-funded pharmaceutical company propaganda". They're merely arguing with you for the lulz.
Look, illness travels. In my opinion, if you refuse act proactively to ensure your metaphorical children were taken care of, you are selfishly blinded by your own propaganda, and as bad as backwoods fundamentalists who refuse to go through with medical procedures because 'it's not what god wants'. Vaccinations are a worldwide medical procedure, and you cannot logically argue they are solely the cause of government-funded pharmaceutical company propaganda, because not every country and government equate to yours. I am appalled by how ego-centric your theories are.
But I never said that about the vaccinations. I said that regarding people's arguments about why vaccinations are "so great," ignoring any of the risks involved with them and having blind faith in the big business which is the pharmaceutical companies that administer these vaccinations under the guise that they're "good" for everyone. Many people believe otherwise. There is nothing ego-centric about it.
Just a friendly suggestion Google HPV vaccine Girls in Texas are dieing from it. I don't think telling people that they have to take Mercury Cancer viruses among other things make anyone any more safe. http://www.whale.to/a/vax_dis.html Check it out, these are MD's
Pressed rat "Just about everything they vaccinate against has long been eradicated anyway." "If people fed their children whole, organic foods, high in nutritional value -- instead of McDonald's, Mountain Dew and Twinkees -- they would not have to worry about them getting sick" You want to talk propaganda ?
Wiping out smallpox was pretty great. You could say the options could be weighed by logical individuals presented with unbiased research. But than people like you who get your rocks off would scare as many uninformed people as possible into not getting shots, and there would be a resurgence of polio. People like you are the reason that we shouldn't let parents decide for themselves. Honestly, your AIDS denialism and your paranoia about vaccinations are a slight health menace.
But if you did the research you would know the Salk vaccination had little to do with eliminating polio. It did, however, make many people very sick and crippled them for life. http://www.vaclib.org/basic/polio.htm
