maybe V-Bulletin is cheap to use and skip had to make that move. I for one would rather contribute more money and not have such a lame fucking flavorless, no funk, clogged up, sterile, microsoft cold feeling forum. what about you?
I'm starting to get used to it. I'm not complaining anymore. At least I can still talk to a few old friends.

How is it any more flavorless than any other forum? It's the content which makes the forum, not the format or the background images. At least the colors aren't as queer as before. Really, I don't have a problem with the new format. It seems pretty easy to use.
I like the new format too... not at first because, well, change is always evil and hard... but you warm up to it!
vBulliten and UBB are both eminently customizable as are others. someone or several someones seem to be working on it. so give them a chance. clearly it is in the proccess of being cusomized. these things take time. well either time or uberguruhood. the latter i lack myself go arround the net and check out other vBulliten based forums and you'll see that everything you find objectionable or 'unfriendly feeling' can be chainged and rearrainged (particularly check out how the forum on vcl is set up) =^^= .../\...
i posted this thread on the second day of the new forums. it seemed like a month but it took me a little over a week to adjust. resurrected threads like this are time sensitive and hence out of context.
