User Names...how Did You Choose Em.

Well looking through all the good people on here....I just wondered how some came up with their name?....My own will probably be known by some folk in the UK by the great Armstrong and Miller comedy act ....where they do a sketch about a retired police detective with a drink problem....who has an imaginary friend and sidekick called "Mr Chuffy" that only he can see......So where does your name come from?

 

Mine originated from a comment a close friend made years ago. I kind of hate it now, because it seems overly feminine and dependent whenever I read it. Oh well, it's sort of "me" now, wouldn't switch it or start anew.

I'm a plethora of useless knowledge.

 

I chose mine because it means something to me, it's culturally significant to me and if you know what it is then you will understand who you're speaking with in a sense. Unfortunately no one really knows on this site. It is quite a masculine name, really and quite a phallic perception. This would be quite hypocritical of me personally to choose, but on the other hand it depicts me perfectly.

I like interesting usernames. On a basis where a username is the first impression, first impressions mean a lot. There are a ton of people on this site I've never bothered with because of their usernames. I won't even read their posts.

The name "Tyrson's Wood" is from my old Renne Faire business... I sold handmade, by me, wood and leather crafts. I ended up using it for whatever art form I chose to be involved with so now it's Tyrson's Wood Studios.

Mattekat is my name a lot of places online. Matte is my favourite lipstick finish, since I wear a lot of weird lipstick colours often, and Kat is short for Katharine, my name. Yep, it doesn't get much deeper than that guys!
