I can't stand teflon. I only use iron or stainless. I hate aluminum, too.

 

Mosquitoes are not really a problem a problem in the UK, but cockroaches can be a menace. Attracted to heat, they often set up home inside and behind electricity meters and I have had hundreds of them running everywhere on several meter faults that they actually caused.

When we first moved to Wimbledon, our detached house and large garden attracted mice and they were doing a lot of damage. I hate killing wildlife, but fortunately when we adopted our first stray cat, they soon ran off and found a new hotel. Sadly, our first cat died a few months ago, It is hard to believe that 16 years flies by so quickly. We still have his son who is getting fat and lazy, so we are thinking about adopting a kitten from the shelter to keep him amused and active.

I appreciate and respect animals, but I don't "love" them and have zero desire to sleep in close quarters. We used to have a hundred sows. I've seen more than a few piglets in my day! My dog that died last year would catch mice. Birds too. Stealthy like a cat! He eliminated more than a hundred groundhogs in his 13 year lifespan. Yeah he is missed...
