Useful Hippie Skills?

Hey here is one, get a job.

Hippy skills. Please. Help yourself out now and leave whatever dream world you are living in. Hippy skills don't put food on the table.

 

I really can do only the sewing by hand and some crafts. And I can often make do with little. But I don't know how to roll a joint, nor would I want to, even for someone else (it's your business if you want to smoke, but I don't wanna take part in it, even cigarettes) and I am pretty terrible at playing music (would like to learn but I've tried and I suck at it, I'm always just off). Then I'm not a total hippy anyways, I just go barefoot and like some of the stuff that are considered 'hippy' by many, but lots of other things I do definitely aren't 'hippy' at all. I just pick whatever I like from whatever culture or sub-culture that uses them, and to hell with labels

 

yeah, putting food on the table, getting a good job, sending your kids to a good school to get good grades. ah the world of bull shit. if you really think that putting food on the table etc. is so important i pity you. if you're taking the piss then here's some advice for you: dont.

 

I hope you are not really 14. If you are, when you move out of your parents house you will find out you have to get a job. And then some people like to start a family and yes give their kids an education so they don't end up like you, looking through a "hippy" forums getting all these false ideas about life, like you can just walk around and bum off of people and what not. If society was full of people like you the human race would be wipped out in 3 generations.

Since I work as a phone psychic/phone sex op, I can go anywhere in the world with a landline and in four hours have $50. A cheap motel w/ a phone is $20-$30 a night, so I'm set.

anyway, i think you should be able to speak spanish, pass yourself off as completely normal, and barter.

Building, handy skills.

 

yeah woo.......veg...anyway i think you should get a bit of land(not big) and grow your own food thats what im gona do....ohh and another useful skill (if traveling) is to be able to read a map.....or you could just go where the wind takes you.....

 

social skills are a definite - if you can't get on with people, you'll be screwed if you need help from people
