Are they looking to replace the constittutions of individual countries with their own? I thought not. The UN is not ment to govern countries or to dominate them. To make an impact on the matters they are ment for they do need to make countries sign treaties but as pointed out your country doesn't have to sign against their will.
But our government hasn't represented the people in a long time. Maybe the majority who "Don't care about politics" but people who do, should have a voice in the matter- not our so-called elected officials. And I believe they do want to override our Constitution, as Obama has done in the past 4 yrs especially
Yet, we are not watched in our homes, and there are very dull parliamentary committee meetings to make sure we are not. YOU are taking a VERY broad brush to this, and ignoring the VERY boring details. Committee meetings about dangerous dogs? Sessions about recycling? I'm petrified. How many 'International' laws are their compared to laws dreamed up by your government and mine? If I hear one more reference to '1984' I might just drop down dead with boredom. Jeez, get some originality why don't you.
isolationism doesn't work well as a doctrine either. we are one nation on a planet of nations and people. http://history.state.gov/milestones/1937-1945/AmericanIsolationism
What about the NSA who listens to our calls etc? The government is also allowed to watch us talk on skype-That is OVER board, like it or not! Citizens demand our privacy!
Well, they don't do they? Do they watch us while we have a whizz? Are they watching you right now? No.
They could be, I have skype and a camera easily accessed by the internet. I think the Liberty movement in this country wants total government reform.
Well they are not, are they? Do you have a 'skype camera' in your bathroom? I would hope not. This paranoid delusion is quite tedious. You can quite easily unplug 'skype'.
It's not paranoia, when we have a government who punishes plant ownership with life in prison. Our government is totally fucked.
We are talking about the state watching our every move, and knowing exactly what we are doing 24/7...that topic get a bit boring for you? It's not life here, I thought we were all under one government?
Well I'm talking about the federal government more-or-less. I know GA has had a medicinal majuana program, but it was cancelled; but Obama's still cracking down on the little guy
No but i'm explaining that American citizens don't want this type of invasion of privacy by such a forceful and violent organization.
So would all this forceful behaviour of the US government on it's citizens change if they would leave the UN?
You are not explaining what people do not want - you are trying to suggest something is or might (be) occur(ing). Heavily handed on the IS, might I add.
As far as I know, yes. They said they might be starting it back up- I hope so! But I think all of our drug laws impose on individual freedoms. The government shouldn't be able to tell us what is OK to ingest!
No, but it's the morality of these people. If you look into their plans they really see population (People) as a burden. Unless you're a millionaire, you shouldn't hold your breath for the UN to spare you. Unless your a DR or some shit
