US out of the UN

I don't think that is quite how it works.

I think underneath all of this is more and more international regulations, laws etc.
StpLSD25 and others seem apposed to the the idea that the sovereingty of their country is being diminished.

Try and find out how many country by country laws / regulations there are and that are produced by each government around the world.
Do you think all of those are going to be uniform through out the world?
Such as, we all drive on the same side of the road, we all get to watch the same programmes on TV.
Then count up all the 'International' laws - subtracting all the boring 'health and safety'/weights and measures/internet protocols/general international laws that help us all function.

And you think a particular country - such as China - wants to manage all of the boring details of the minutia of everybody's life around the world?

May I request they organise the recycling truck come around more than once a week.

 

Well to be fair if a one world government operated like many national governments do (makes sense that it would), a great deal of the 'boring stuff' would be taken care of at the local level, not necessarily from Emperor Palpatine and his staff.

 

If you look at how the NHS is run, although all hospitals have 'NHS' outside, they do not all run the same way.

Maybe instead of being exactly the same, it is more leaning towards how the Romans governed. 'Practical' autonomy'.
It definitely wouldn't be practical to try and govern everybody the same way.
So, you have autonomy, but similarity?
It sounds rather haphazard and diluted.

The UN has been operating for 60-70 years, and how far along are they in making all our lives look exactly the same?

The only reason China is mentioned is because it is an increasing emerging market, and it's GDP is increasing.
It does not mean they have any reason or any need/desire to try and 'take over the world'.

You can't possibly 'rule' billions of people.

If they want to make us all have similar lives - bring it on.
The similar life would be: clean water, jobs, healthcare, equality etc etc etc.

If the purpose is to divide us and keep the world in the pickle it is in - then I see no point.

You could say one entity is trying to suck all the 'profit' from the world...and leave us all swinging in the wind.
Not interested in taking control but advantage.

 

There are times where I state opinion, and other times I've placed fact, I've posted many sources, why, in the least, the UN is a group of bully-nations and not "peace keeping enviormentalists" And I'll go over some of it through this post.

Well, is Jesse Ventura credible to the folks here? He did a show on how the government signed off on FEMA "emergency camps" which look alot like prisons and even declare; "Do not bring in anything that can help someone escape." There's also hundreds of thousand of graveliners (owned by Halliburton) just 50 miles south of my current location.

Also, the UN at the very least, it's been a major factor in helping business. War has gotten us oil, and kept the dollar in power. The UN even had a program after 'worldwide' sanctions on Iraq, following sanctions, the UN created an "oil for food" program, which is just as corrupt as it sounds. They made the Iraqis trade oil for humanitarian goods and services. What happened to all nations being equal? It's that only providing that the World Powers get its grubby hands on something? Well That's how it appears. This is just a little bit of Gaddafi's speech to the UN, not a year before they executed him.

It's not exactly an act; they don't want to lose their voters going against their party.

That's what it is- true conservatives were the good guys at one time, but today government has gotten too big and invasive. I believe we got too much government, and we have for awhile. We need to do what's right for the citizens, and I really don't think the government has helped much. (We could've got 8 hour work days or minimum wage by not working for slave-drivers. But government has got involved, and most places, minimum wage isn't enough to survive; 40% of workers now earn less than 1968. Well, i think the government is overspending purposely to collapse the dollar. The government has been known to use crisis and distraction to pass things; the Federal Reserve act was passed by a few elites on Jeckel Island.

The World Government is already here. It is the UN; we will see more corruption from our government and the UN in the future. I can't prove to you that the US wants to become one of the first properties of the UN. I'm just pointing out evidence, there plenty of examples of the government undermining our Constitution (Laws:HR347, CISPA,NDAA, NDRP and the espionage act. Programs:NSA, DHS, FBI etc.)

If one can see the Constitution is def being violated than we may ask what they want to implement - from the UN's "Universal Human Rights"

In other Words, if the UN wants to take your Rights away, they're gone. Seems like they did that to Snowden since it says "Every human as the Right to asylum" So much for the

This thread is beginning to stray further from its topic "The US out of the UN".

 

The point is to not make it so Americentric, to show it isn't Americentric.

 

The thread topic does not in my opinion have anything to do with the NHS, which I believe refers to the British National Health Service. And for that matter, neither does it imply the UN having involvement in Obamascare.

The "US out of the UN" does though appear to imply being Americentric, and it does not include GB out of the UN, or any other country which currently belongs.
