Uriah Heep Live 1973 is a classic.. and an absolute must for any Heep fan.
You can find it online at the usual dodgy places if you search for it..

The original double album vinyl release tracklist was:

    1. "Sunrise" (3:50)
    2. "Sweet Lorraine" (4:27)
    3. "Traveller in Time (3:20)
    4. "Easy Livin'" (2:43)
    5. "July Morning" (11:23)
    6. "Tears in My Eyes" (4:34)
    7. "Gypsy" (13:32)
    8. "Circle of Hands" (8:47)
    9. "Look at Yourself" (5:57)
    10. "The Magicians Birthday" (1:15)
    11. "Love Machine" (3:07)
    12. "Roll Over Beethoven - Rock 'n Roll Medley" (8:17)
There was a re-issue deluxe edition released in 2004 with some bonus material..
But for me the original version at 320kbps / 44kHz can't be beat..
The only disappointment for me is the exclusion of a full ripping version of Magician's Birthday with that incredible Mick Box/Lee Kerslake guitar/drum excursion.. They just do a little one minute teaser of it on the live album..
You can't really call what Mick and Lee they did in that song a solo.. it's a mind blowing drum/guitar thing like I've never heard before or since.

But if you do stumble on the 73 live album online, grab it.
    You won't be sorry..

The classic Heep lineup for me was the 72-75 version.
    David Byron – vocals
    Mick Box – guitar
    Ken Hensley – keyboards
    Gary Thain – bass guitar
    Lee Kerslake – drums

Fave albums (in order) would be.

    Uriah Heep - Live 73 (1973)
    Magician's Birthday (1972)
    Demons and Wizards (1972)
    Sweet Freedom (1973)

After Sweet Freedom (1973) I sort of lost interest..
But they put out 3 great studio albums and one double live album out in less than two years..
    A tremendous achievement..

Those four albums hold a special place in my heart..

I'd recommend Demons and Wizards and Magician's Birthday for anyone who doesn't know much about Heep, but would like to check out their music..
And of course the 73 Live album.

You can't go wrong with classic Byron/Thain period Heep.
