isn't it interesting that the next revolution is clearly going to be a cyber revolution? I'm really not a computer person; i post on HF and research shit and thats pretty much it. This has all taken me by surprise; i didn't even see it coming. but fuck yeah, hackers. i wish i had something more intelligient to offer than, fuck yeah, hackers. I am unprepared for the cyber revolution. I've been sitting around in nature with my friends expecting a revolutionary war-style revolution. damnit. i need to catch up with this modern era... on a side note: i never watch keith olberman because i hate all those political pundits and the media in general, but for whatever reason i tuned the tv to him to see what he has to say about this situation, and my conclusion is he's not a bad guy. that is all based on this one line, "visa. its everywhere you dont want to be." thats why the media sucks. they suck you in with those one liners.
Dang, if if comes to the states it'll be curtains for him, they'll kill'em in jail while waiting for trial and we'll never hear the truth

awesome. i'm in america so can't really call without ridiculous long distance charges, but i will certainly be emailing. I was already contemplating emailing my state representatives in congress but I'm in a strictly red state..its doubtful that anyone would listen to me. indeed. i think most people have the same problem I do, in that they think the best they can do is cheer, "fuck yeah, hackers." this gives everyone some solid action to take. absolutely. technology might just give those that believe in nonviolence a chance to revolt without sacrificing our nonviolent beliefs.
Talk about fear tactics... Read wikileaks and forget about working for the governments... http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/12/08/wikileaks.students/index.html?hpt=T2
my roommate is a former member of the US army from the intelligience division with a security clearance. I've been talking with him about his perspective on this whole matter and knowing what i know about security clearances, this actually makes sense. When he was trying to get his security clearance, I had to go through several interviews with several different officials simply because I grew up with the guy and he listed me as a reference. Its a complicated process to get a security clearance; it makes perfect sense that anyone with the freedom of mind to read wikileaks would not be approved. my roommate is a free thinker and i had to basically lie on the interviews i had to do on his security clearance. If i told the truth, he would be denied. Of course they don't want to give free thinkers clearance to classified information.
I can't wait to see what the 248,900 files they haven't released yet say. Oh god it's the best Christmas ever

It strikes me that the more effective the DDoS attacks prove to be the more likely some sort of new internet regulation will emerge from all this that is not related to leaking government and corporate information.
I am sure any smart companies will be shutting themselves down to avoid the crashes? I would be....and come to think of it..how do we know if a company is telling the truth about who shuts them down....they could do it on their own and blame the wiki people in order to gain support against mr assange....how long till a death of someone is blamed on a shut down?.... those mothers obviously play dirty
