I wasn't saying I knew for sure he did rape them, I was just wondering what peoples thoughts would be if he DID. Geez.

I've probably been brainwashed by the British show MI-5 but there are some things that I have no problem with being kept secret if releasing the information could get agents killed.

I meant I don't agree that are actually getting nukes, I think it's propaganda.

Oh yeah, but the main site being down ends up making it look even more suss, even though it might actually be about traffic problems.

Its cool though, like theres this big internet war going on, goverments blocking sites, a whole heap of DDoS attacks, half on which probably from government organisations themselves.

I cant wait for the movie, DiCaprio would make a good Assange

Not only does wikileaks push the idea that Iran is going for nuclear capabilities, they also push the idea that Iraq had Wmd's. Seems rather suspect.

    Wikileaks does not "push ideas"
They are NOT about opinions, just releasing documents.

If you want OPINIONS, turn on fox, cnn, msnbc... any of Murdochs propaganda I mean news stations

It seems like governments could just get fake documents that appear to be real documents and then the fake documents get released on wikileaks giving us more false information. Or I could just be drunk.

I question the validity of some of these documents.

    Exactly what I was thinking!

It could all just be more propoganda... who the hell knows? I always think it's funny when people are so suspicious of one source but just automatically believe everything that comes out of a different source.

I HOPE nuclear weapons are all on closed systems, in that it takes a human to relay the message to the launch site, and the launch site then acts on what they're told. As I understand it, they USED to ( and probly still do ) use a human safety on warheads that where in an armed, launchable state, with two men, each chained to a gun and button some distance appart. If your partner in distrust turns out to be a commie, you shoot him, and the missle can't launch without both buttons pressed. (that's all just what I was told, but it would make sense)

*edit* ell oh fucking ell at 4chan and hf on the same side. if they knew we where their allies, they'd ddos us too, just for good measure :p (with great power comes great responsibility... and anon has the combined responsibility of half the worlds 15 year olds)

missiles are like dump trucks.... they need keys..
Secondly many land based missiles must me loaded with fuel, not all.. but some ICBM couldnt reach their targets with primary rocket fuel engines... These long range nuclear weapons often requirer oxygen fuel, much like a space rocket.. This is why a sub launch is more strategically useful... weapons on a sub only need maintenance once a year or so.. With a tracking distance of a sub sonic missile AGM-86B: 1500+ miles (2,400+ km) capable of delivering a nuclear warhead to the door step of its targets home. ;)

I was just thinking the arrest Assange might not have been a very smart move for the powers that be. This is stirring people up and making a martyr out of him. I think the voice of the people is ultimately always stronger than the voice of the government and people might actually raise their voices and be fucking loud about this.

    shit yeah.

In honor of Assange, I'd rather hack it from you without you knowing it. :)

any and mostly all weapons must be maintained, though nuclear weapons do not come with expiration dates stamped on them like a can of soup, but they do age. Since most weapons in the stockpile were designed, built and tested in the 1970s and 1980s, answering the question of shelf life takes on more urgency with each passing year...
