My folks and my brother's family made it to the resort in Canada. The lake this spring had all-time record flooding. In mid June there was 40 inches of lake over the resort entrance road. Luckily it was down to 15in deep when they arrived.
The little trees/bushes in the water grow up from a rock dike that, on a normal year, rises 4ft from the water surface.
The main dock where boats are usually parked overnight. If you zoom in, you can see weeds poking up from the water on each side of the dock. That is where the shoreline should be.
This is where the boat launch is. The actual concrete launch ramp is out by the dock. If you look closely at the little shed you can see how high the water was.
Thursday... this is traditionally the day the kids go tubing PLUS it is steak night up there! And lots and lots of drinks!
