    I like this!

My grandson save a big Marilyn poster for me when one of his mom's friends was moving.

Idk.. .it's so hipster. I feel like I'd have to try to pull off that furniture. It would take effort to own those. They are cool though, I agree.

This is the poster I have.

My bedroom is going to be grey and white so I'd like the dresser white and silver antique, maybe.

I can get numerous pallets and I have been looking at pallet outside furniture and it's pretty cool.

You can also make furniture out of cardboard.
If constructed correctly it's extremely strong.

    ....and highly flammable.

I would never use cardboard for inside the house

Wood will also burn and many people are stupid enough to construct the major structural portions of their homes out of it.

    Corrugated cardboard has a flash point of 451° F/ 232.7° C.
Flammable substances have flash points below 100° F/37.8° C.
    Combustible substances have flash points above 100° F/37.8° C and below 199.9° F/93.3° C.
(I think I have that right!)

So cardboard is not highly flammable.
But f you're worried about cardboard catching on fire it can be treated with something like non toxic Flamex PF-1 fire retardant spray. This product will give cardboard a flame spread rating of A or B depending on coverage. Asbestos cement board is class A, red oak wood is class C.

Cardboard can be treated like any other wood product. It can be painted, polyurethaned, varnished, etc. As with wood, excessive water will cause warpage.

Great, maybe you could start a thread dedicated to upcycled cardboard being made into furniture.

We made a table like this with an old sewing machine stand that I picked up at a yard sale.

I'd like to do this if I come by another stand.
