It's just some of the many bushels of spilled corn that didn't make it into the silo. You'd be amazed at the amount of grain that's wasted by spillage or deterioration at just one of these facilities. Nothing can ruin your appetite like the smell of rotten corn or soybeans. LOL
That's the landscape where I reside. The roads are typically long and straight as you can see from the photo, which is why it's hard not to exceed the speed limits they post. I used to drive to high school back in the day in my first car at speeds around 125 mph.
There are many people who fly drones and RC planes and such here. I have a beginner model RC helicopter I almost learned to fly until I crashed it and broke the tail rotor. I'm going to replace the entire helicopter with a new one that's the same, as the new parts are over half the price of a new complete unit.
Did work in the place. This by far the coolest thing j have ever seen in person. Talk about old school!
Looks like a camera for making photo copies. The camera was adjusted for a finished size negative that was printed for the copy. Also looks like camera used in engraving at a newspaper to make plates for printing newspapers back in the day of what was called hot type, using lead for printing plates.
you are more than welcome to post unusual photos on this thread. Or do a drone photo thread of your own. x
