well, it's the CS and EE department. A lot is possible there. Once we had a bbq on the roof of a ten storey building . That brought us a bit of trouble. Not because we were on the roof, but because we had no good excuse how we would prevent the sparks from the grill to burn leaks into the roof. The trick is, I think, to be good people and clean up after you. Don't let the labs look like dumpster, don't spill beverages etc.

University for us started a week ago.
I too am an engineering student, electrical to be precise.
I want to kill myself every day, although that isn't really the fault of my major. I'm beginning to find the university environment to be highly depressing. I might drink tonight.

 

Why didn't you spend your Ferien in Kroatien like every normal German?

i like universities. at least i like what they used to be. before all the terror b.s. when i could just go to the engineering and science library of any university and read whatever i like.
i'm kind of afraid to do that now, after some of the things that have happened to people who did without being enrolled as a student.
and as far as actually signing up for classes (i matriculated more then 40 years ago, so that part's not a thing) who the hell can afford to anymore,
without indenturing themselves and the next four generations of their unborn children?
