Dude, that's amazing. I'm glad things are going so well for you. Congrats on getting clean and finding a good woman. Sounds like you have a strong support system, both in your lady and in your housemates. I'm proud of you, dude, and I'm sure you're proud of yourself. It's not easy. Keep up the good work. As for your dreads.......was it your choice to chop them shits or did it have to be done for some reason? Maybe a mandate or something?

I quit cigs, myself and an almost finished tapering off of the Xanax, but I had a few seizures from the withdrawal. Benzo withdrawal is more dangerous than the benzos, themselves, as I'm assuming you know. I'm doing good though.

The first time, did you allow them to begin by knotting?matting naturally? Or did you use a specific method? I don't know much about the process, but I'm guessing the beginning is the most important part, if you want the to be relatively uniform, correct?

Don't get me wrong........I still have the occasional social cigarette, but that's rare, whereas I used to smoke at least a pack a day. Once, an ex-girlfriend and I smoked an entire carton on Marlboro reds within 24 hours. It was ridiculous. lol

I sectioned my hair then did the twist-n-rip method. After that it was just a soak twice a month in a little salt water and washing with certain residue free soaps. I got a lot of comments on them and many were sad they were gone but they will be back.

I've always wanted dreads. I think they'd suit me. I've been told I have a good face for dreads, if that makes any sense at all. lol It's just matter of getting started. I have a lot more patience than I used to, so maybe I'll start the process soon. Unfortunately, I just recently cut my hair to a 1/4in, but I suppose it can be good to start from scratch.

One question though.........I have oily hair. Will that be a problem?

I forgot to ask how it feels to be with a woman who has kids so close to your age. Does it make for a weird dynamic or does it work well for all involved?

Some more '90's nostalgia. Dude tells the entire story of The Lion King in the form of a rap song. Dude's talented as fuck.

I come home to a perfect disaster. It appears a turkey flew into my window.. this second turkey into my window in 20yrs Id say,,, it must of been fine to escape but Julie knows something was going on over there and rolled the carpet by the door up.. it seems the turkey went into the dinning room also, a few empty cans and bottles are knocked over and feathers.. I suppose after some time it figured out the way it came in was the way out... broken glass every where.. storm window and inside window.. im going to rip the whole window out since it mangled the storm window frame .. lovely..

She is 9 years older, both of us could care less.

Everything single girl ive been in a long term relationship with has been older. 1 year, 4 years, 4 years, 7 years, 8 years and now just over 9. I don't think ive ever kissed a girl younger than myself. :afro:

got a great video of a cat hanging on my screen door from about 12 years back. it must have belonged to the people who lived there before me because that cat was not leaving. i had to pick it up and carry it into the woods across the parking lot.

Oh, I guess you made a couple of typos then. haha You said one is 16 and one 19(I consider that somewhat "grown"), with the other being 2. Did you mean 6, 9, and 2?

The bipartisan Congressional Cannabis Caucus released the following statement in response to White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s suggestion that the Trump administration will step up enforcement of federal laws against recreational marijuana.
“Today’s statement by White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer regarding marijuana policy reaffirms the need for the Congressional Cannabis Caucus. Last November, eight more states passed measures to increase access to state-legal cannabis, and today more than 300 million Americans live in states with access to adult-use marijuana or some form medical cannabis. Among them are four additional states that have fully legalized the adult-use of marijuana. We hope today’s comments do not reflect the views of the President and his administration. As co-chairs of the Congressional Cannabis Caucus, we stand ready to educate this administration on the need for more sensible marijuana policies and share the many experiences states have had with the legalization of cannabis. Together, we will continue to work in a bipartisan manner to reform our failed marijuana policies and provide a voice for Americans who have overwhelmingly voted for a more sensible drug policy.”
Last week, Reps. Earl Blumenauer (OR-03), Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48), Jared Polis (CO-02), and Don Young (AK-At Large) announced the formation of the bipartisan Congressional Cannabis Caucus. The Caucus will provide a forum for members of the U.S. House of Representatives to discuss, learn, and work together to establish a better and more rational approach to federal cannabis policy.
Source: Cannabis Caucus e-mailed press release
Today Congressman Earl Blumenauer released the following statement in response to White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer’s statement that the Trump Administration may start “greater enforcement” of adult use of marijuana.
“I am deeply disappointed by Sean Spicer’s statement that he expects states to see ‘greater enforcement’ and crackdown on adult use of marijuana. The national prohibition of cannabis has been a failure, and millions of voters across the country have demanded a more sensible approach. I’m looking forward to working with the leadership of our newly formed cannabis caucus to ensure that Oregonian’s wishes are protected and that we end the failed prohibition on marijuana.”..
