My mom is the worst with selling too low. She sold her mini fridge for $10. Worked perfectly. I should have bought it from her. Ended up paying 25 for one that leaks a Lil bit.

I've had good luck in sales. I sell on Ebay, Craigslist. Hanging an ad at the hardware store. I've sold some cool stuff and some lame stuff. But it all sells. Probably about 1000+ items.

This stuff sells. Harley parts, furniture, movie memorabilia, clothing, swimming pool equipment, lawn and garden, cars , kitchen and bathroom, firewood, rocks, all electronics , motorcycles. I won't ever sell Firearms ever again.

I sell to get rid of scrit too! No flipping...I've gotten rid of every piece of scrit in the house. As of today I only have about 9 pieces of scrit to sell, and I'll be caught up.

 

I'm bad about selling low too. I like people to get good deals. But when I am on ebay that means my stuff goes quick. A few Christmases ago I sold an Xbox and it was only listed for 5 minutes. But I think it went to someone who appreciated it at least. My feedback was something like "BLESS YOU" in all caps. I looked after and everyone else wanted double what I asked. Oh well it's better to sell a lot for a little then a little for a lot. Volume works as a business model.

i can count maybe 3 times i lost a bit but easy to forget them when i think of the thousands i made on

probably the best was a $500 car that needed an hours work (just had a broken wire on speed sensor but dealer was working him on a tranny rebuild)...sold that one for $4000 if i remember right

its always a chance with cars though..cant really check them good until after you own it
