Under a tornado warning.

It was definitely a warning. It was flashing all over the place. The warning has expired though, so I guess it's all fine.

I don't have a shelter or anything, I would have ran to the tub. Most people here don't have basements because we are on the coast with tons of marsh land and we aren't really prone to tornadoes, except the past few years, we've had a lot more. We had one last year that made national news.

 

Would have been more exciting if your house got destroyed.

 

I know it probably won't happen here..
It would scare the fuck out of me, but I want to see one.

 

For the ultimate voyeur they do have tours every spring throughout tornado alley
if you can foot the bill which is fairly substantial

i plan one day to travel down tornado alley in a van and track them. i love them, i wish we had more here. i think we do have some in the middle of the desert but they get so big in america :drool5: i always watch those tornado doco's on tv when they're on!!

not a big concern; tornado warnings happen about once a week in the summer and i've only seen 2 actual tornadoes in my life.

just like how the local emergency siren goes off every single time it rains and people still panic over it.
