i like helping others.. but right now. im not sure if Im having some MS flare or Im sick with something else. been this way since thrusday.

i usually hold back on comments like this because I dont want anyone to get worried. but the coughing blood is something new for me. severe headache, very dizzy when i walk ..
so no I dont feel like making anyone tea.

 

Woke up an hour late for hockey today.

sunday morning hockey....I remember it all too well.....either that or we would rent the 2am Friday night slot...played lots of those too.......pens you playing full roster or 3 o 3 or some variation?

 

once in 1979 I was at sunday night hockey....we played at midnight....while there the Mississauga police raided my apartment,arresting my very much pregnant wife and simultaneously raiding my mom and dads house arresting my dad for threatening a cop

she turned out amazing....38 just last week.....she lives in toroto with her kids.....we actually met last night ....she was playing the firelight festival and I went to watch.....her samba troupe is freaking awesome....they had a guest brazillian singer and it was held in the crystal palace,.....this gorgeous all wooden beams and glass building in picton Ontario

You really should see a doctor, that sounds very serious

 

did you call your primary care? that's what I do when I get something weird. But yours sounds more serious than that. Urgent care?

 

coughing blood is normal for me ...it usually means the cold is almost done

 

Unless Ori lives in a place totally different from lots of states, people waaaayyyy overestimate what the VA does medical wise for vets. Here (in SC) they have to wait until they are about dead to get help...now if all you want is a pile of pills they are jam up. If you want real care and to find out wth the problem is that is making you feel like hell...its back to the waiting list.

I've heard the same type of stories from other states where vets have basically been denied access to good doctors that could help them with their problem...just give 'em some pills...that seems to be the prevailing thought on how to treat (all) illnesses.

But going in to an ER with insurance may or SHOULD get the ball rolling...just don't tell them you're a vet until they've actually done something for you.
