ow. dental pain sucks. i have 2 teeth that NEED pulled (they are filled with temp fillings that are failing now) and 2 that i want pulled (so i can skip this agonizing phase of predictable decay)
i have one dentist i trust....
and he doesnt take medicaid.
all the dentists that take it seem to prefer knocking you out to remove teeth...
and im not really down with that. i prefer to be awake, nitroused, and numb.

wheres the orajel? thanksgiving is this week. theres no way i get any help until after the holiday, and probably nothin if its not emergent.
is "im going to dig these motherfuckers out of the bone myself" emergent enough?

I have some dental work needed but I haven't had the courage to go yet. It's been 13 years since I saw a dentist..

 

How do you run a bath?

Do you tweak both hot and cold until you feel a desired temperature and then run the bath with this or;
Do you full half the tub up with hot water and then use cold to get your desired temperature?

I do it the second way, this way it's always hot I just cannot trust 2 waters going at the same time and I feel it's more optimal doing way #2(4). I prefer my baths hot hot, red lobster hot and I have read that cold water is actually better, but I feel the hot bath and sweat just cleans me off real well plus it's also good to warm up my back and then stretch. I also cold shower afterwards to clean off the scrub.

i boil a big stockpot on the stove, run hot water into the tub, add the stock pot, and get in when its just below flesh-cooking levels...
is that not how everyone else does it?

its good to finish with cooler water, to close up the pores, but not really necessary, just beneficial.

 

See I thought open pores would clean and flush and cleanse and detox.

 

Now I'm not against hunting, or slaughtering farm animals..both are far more humane than factory farming

But hunting a goat?? Wouldnt that be more like standing there and shooting a goat as it grazes or slowly ambles towards you? Not much hunting involved

Dang I've never even had a slight thought about anybody hunting goats!

They are so docile and don't even have sense to run from anybody really...unless of course you are talking about the ones that seem able to scale mountains that are dang straight up and they are able to stand on a 1/4" ledge.

I've always compared goats to dogs...except they scream (which I really love) as opposed to bark. They are truly nice, petable (yes that is a word lol) animals. There is this farm nearby - "Split Creek Farm" and its mostly a goat farm but they have a few pigs, cats and of course the best dog in the world for watching out after your farm animals - Great Pyrenees. They also have chickens and roosters...loud crowing roosters.

Isn't Rolling's dog a Great Pyrenees? (or a mix of one - with the GP being predominant?)

Putting up the christmas tree today, I think. I usually don't do it this early, but we are going away for a couple weeks at christmas so I figured we should have it up for more than a week haha.
