I love it. Yes, it is primitive. The most primal show case of human physical dominance, but it's a competetive physical chess match. One mistake, one wrong position can effect the entire fight. Also, most of the fighters don't do it to hurt people. It's competition. If you think it's just mindless apes thumping, you're ignorant to the sport but, I respect everyone's oppinion.
I'm very passionate about the sport. Alot of my friends train and compete and I myself train and hope to compete at least in the amatuers.

 

I think the question is how can anyone ENJOY that?
