I got an email asking for my prayers for Jewish Ukranians. Here's the letter:

As you know, Ukraine is in crisis. Attempts by Russia to annex parts of the country have resulted in a tense power struggle and widespread civil unrest. In the center of this civil unrest is Ukraine’s Jewish community. This chaos has brought to the fore the anti-Semitic hatred that has always been apparent in this part of the world.​

The Fellowship has already made great efforts to protect and provide for those who are at risk, but we need to do more. So tomorrow, I will be traveling to Ukraine to assess those needs and to find out how The Fellowship can best address them.​

During this trip, I ask for your prayers. Please pray that all who are at risk of anti-Semitic hatred will be protected, and that The Fellowship’s efforts will be effective in helping those in need. Pray for a swift, peaceful, and just end to this conflict. And please pray for my safety as I travel to this volatile and turbulent region.


Rest assured, my friends, that as I travel I will also be praying for you. It is only because of your generosity, your love for Israel, and your compassion for Jews in need around the world that we are able to do this work.​
