Uber addictive games

EQ *stoped playing*, Diablo 2*stoped playing*, KOTORs *beat them and gave games to GF*, some random MUDs....Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah soon to be WoW

 

I was a beta tester for WoW...got plenty of hours in that game and also got plenty of wasted time due to there developers..

 

WoW is a game that is only existant to make you play and never really finish... its just made to make you play it for a long time so they cash in on the monthly fees... its not a really fun game at all... its just huge... which is why I hate it.

 

Haha I am somewhat addicted to Wow...been playing it for about 5 months...but I noticed it gets really boring for me after lvl 25....none of my characters have made it past that...so what do I do?....I create another character thinking its gonna be different....but it aint lol. I think I have been every race/class/profession there is. All the while they suck another 15 dollars from my bank account.....Wow! maybe I should stop playin WOW! lol....guild wars looks good....but hmmm I just dont know

Star wars galaxies (ugh....what was i thinking....?)

 

Guild wars is nice, people complain about the mobility but they just don't get the genre, so many WoW fanboys come over and say "why can't I jump over that ledge?"

well the real answer is because you're supposed to have a hard time getting to some of these placces, filter the chaff from the wheat, and it's not about leveling, it's about strategy, gameplay, even at max level there is stuff more powerful than you, that's just how it is, humans aren't the top of the food chain, it's a challenge, I just tell idiot who tells me that there is no challenge to solo lornars, it is literally impossible, they usually back off after that, and that isn't even the games hardest area

 

final fantasy 7. i beat it like a million times and i still love it

Kotor and Halo, I have lost many nights of sleep because of these two games.

 

The sims. I spend hours playing it, then I get so sick of it I don't play it for a month. Then I start playing again for hours. The cycle repeats.

 

Good god I know that feeling. Especially after I discovered all the sites to download various objects. Spend hours just building houses.

I think I'm gonna get Guild Wars, It looks really cool and from what they say on the main site it's compelling. If what qt says about it being about strategy and gameplay is on, then it's on. It'd be nice to play an rpg that's got some strategy involved rather than just kill, repeat over and over again till you get better stuff.

 

I've got so many Final Fantasy saves on memory cards...

4 for FF7, 96 hours, 76 hours, 55 hours, and 49 hours... all different saves, because i save over everything.
3 for FF9, 60 hours, 34 hours, and 24 hours
5 for X, 91 hours, 72 hours, 68 hours, 50 hours, 33 hours
2 for X-2, 84 hours and 40 hours

and yes, those are all different games...


what a waste of a fucking life.

thankfully, i spend all my time now playing guitar or foruming, no more games...

but god damn you square enix, a sequel to FF7 is in the works and FF12 is released in japan at the end of june. and to top it all off, a final fantasy could be a launch game for ps3. bastards..

 

thats 832 hours right there, i once had a save for ff7 that was 99 hours though...

and when i was much younger, there were those damn pokemon games. i remember having 134 hours on my gold version in 7th grade.
