Good to see you still around.

Remember the days when I would flame you for your posts? Gosh I miss those days. Not because of our fights.

But because back then, I really honestly truly believed that this country wasn't the complete piece of shit that you said it was. I honestly believed that John Q. Consumer had learned something in recent years, and yes, I even believed the USA to be a basically good country. I think part of it was the fact that I'd met a number of upper-income, educated, conservative-looking people who really HAD learned the "lessons of the '60s." It's easy to think that Joe Sixpack isn't a moron when you've managed to avoid the Joe Sixpacks of the land.

It was a beautiful illusion, but that's all it was. And I'm sorry.

I probably was rude enough that you no longer care WHAT I say, but I'm truly sorry about those times and the many attacks I made on you and others. It seems bizarre to me that I ever defended Bush in this forum.

But in case you wondered what set me in the right direction, it was something you said- you simply pointed out the number of Taliban supporters there were in Afghanistan versus the population there. Most people there, just like here, just want to live their lives and not be dragged into politics. That was the beginning of "getting back on track" for me.

I just wanted to post a belated "I'm truly sorry" post before this year ended. I might have done this previously, but I'm really not sure that I ever did...

I did notice you seemed to have 'got the story first' was that first before me Yeah.. First before the rest of the world.. NO. Anything to do with BUsh censoring the news.. again NO.

I guess time zones have a lot to do with the varying and differing publication times/dates..Anyhoo it is about censorship [YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT].. If you can find anything that is not within those i posted and are in the info you posted.. Then yeah thats a good case and you may have a point... but is being slightly pedantic quibling about the dates/times..
I'll just say you said ''So please check back NEXT week for news on Iraq. As far as you're concerned there IS NO NEWS about Iraq until the US government says so...'' Wich was clearly NOT TRUE... So i guess thats possibly one to you and deffinitly one to me
