Diplomatic Murder

Diplomats are a dime a dozen,
Often more trouble than they're worth,
Immunity, means no speeding tickets!
The worst they will do is kick you out of the country,
For something, like committing murder,
Or kill you for being a double agent,
In the ancient Roman tradition.
All you have to do is get close,
Which is what diplomacy is all about!
Roosevelt wanted to cut the heads off the Japanese,
For stringing him along, while they bombed Pearl Harbor.​

I don’t think diplomats should have immunity. There was a drunk diplomat In Ottawa who was driving and hit someone, injured badly or killed. He was just whisked out of the country.

 

Their children have diplomatic immunity as well, and are sometimes whisked out of the country for committing manslaughter running people over. Only a fool takes his children into a battle zone without comprehending the possible consequences. I grew up around these people, around CIA spooks and Navy Seals. My best friend from high school can't take a job as a cop, because he would end up killing too many people. Wrong reflexes. Diplomats are crocodiles, with perfect grins they practice in the mirror, or government appointees with no clue what they getting into.
