    .
A true legend of the game. One of the first players tp ply his trade 'abroad' (albeit for a short time), he could and did his job at the sharp end and; although not a great trainer, a natural and clinical striker.
He is Tottenham Hotspur's highest ever goalscorer, and the highest goalscorer in the history of English top-flight football with 357 goals,

He was England's fourth highest international goalscorer and had also scored more hat-tricks (six) for England than anyone else.
He played in the 1962 and 1966 FIFA World Cup, but was injured in the group stage of the 1966 World Cup and lost his first team place to Geoff Hurst, who kept Greaves out of the first team in the final.
England won the World Cup, but Greaves was not given his medal until a change of FIFA rules in 2009. He was also part of the squad that finished third in UEFA Euro 1968.

Only Fools and Horses' Boycie actor John Challis dies - BBC News

Challis was best known for playing unscrupulous second-hand car dealer Terrance Aubrey “Boycie” Boyce in the popular BBC sitcom Only Fools And Horses from 1981 to 2003.

In a lessr known moment, he showed a great deal of professionalism when he had to think on his feet while appearing as a guest on a Serbian talk show program after the host was rushed to hospital.
The country has a lot of love for Only Fools and Horses - so much so, that Challis was actually given honorary citizenship in the Balkan state.
A wave of “Boycie mania” swept through the country last year when Challis came to visit for his documentary called “Boycie In Belgrade” to explain how the sitcom became so popular in Serbia.
