I think this is going to be a watch and see situation This is the key graph that the Government is clearly watching and not the number of new cases which will rocket numbers wise . As long as the hospitalization stays within certain levels ,the Government is unlikely to change course.

Yes, but they did try to evade self-isolation, but the opprobrium surrounding what they were attempting was too much and they had to give in and concede to self-isolation.
Yep I was right The app alert is advisory only and not enforceable by law, unlike a phone call from the Test and Trace team. Source BBC So why all the hullabaloo ? People need to use their discretion and get one of the lateral flow test kits and test . If negative carry on . The country doesn't have to grind to a halt. Most people I know who were daft enough to have the G̶o̶v̶e̶r̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶v̶i̶r̶u̶s̶ app on their phones have now deleted it. Mind you, I heard today that others are deliberately getting pinged, so that they can have a week off in the garden!
