We still have no figures on how many people have died when they had covid in their system, as opposed to how many died AS A RESULT of covid.
The only true figure will be to take the TOTAL number of people who die every day and deduct 1,500
Even then, it will be necessary to average over longer periods to see by how much peoples lives have been cut short.

However me must never forget that deaths would rise considerably if we allowed the number of people in any one day needing treatment to exceed the capacity of the NHS. Particularly those needing ICU beds.

Covid seems to be the 'go to' cause of death on the certificate, so it's difficult to properly gauge things.
Influenza? Cancer? along with 'Winter' also needs to be identified and differentiated from the figures presented - unless they are, then realistic numbers are difficulrt to assess
