Type of circumcision

Wow! This is a tremendous amount of circumcised people!
Wondering what is the percentage of circumcised people in Europe and Italy. I guess very very low.

The circumcision rate in Europe is very low, under 10%. Muslims and Jews are circumcised, and people who have had to be circumcised due to tight foreskins and for other reasons. Males in England over 65 were often circumcised, but National Health stopped paying for it in about 1950, so it was not routinely done thereafter. However upper class English boys often still are circumcised. In the U.S., where I grew up in New England, almost all the boys were circumcised. Many women in the U.S. have never been with an uncut guy.

 

I think that loose circumcisions were more popular in the past than they are now, but I would not have it any other way. the best of both worlds...

I saw something totally different. It was in Time Magazine but I don't remember where the stats they got came from or what issue of Time it was... it was a month or two back... in any case, in the US it broke up the country into regions... Northeast, SouthEast, Midwest and then just West... (which included obviously CA, etc. but both the south and north west)....

The exact stats I don't remember (sorry) BUT overall it was WAY different than 77%. For example, the West was close to 50/50.... and the various other regions I mentioned above varied from about 82% circumcised.. to only 64% circumcised. These were babies that were born in 2011 I believe was what the stats were for. I wish I remember the exact stats but I am sure what I am remembering is very close because I remember talking to my husband about how wide a range in difference there now is in the US by region.

 

That is changing though (how almost all the boys were circumcised) ... I am in the north east US also. I am a female. I had one boyfriend in my life who was uncircumcised and he was the only guy who was uncircumcised that I've been with... in any case, I know my husband told me that when he was in school every boy was circumcised... but in any case ....the stats I mentioned in my previous post- the north east, I believe the circumcision stats for 2011 is that about 64 or 68% of baby boys were circumcised. (my son was born in 2011 and he was not.)--- and as I mentioned earlier, in the West..CA, etc.- the stats are close to 50/50 both ways.

 

I couldn't answer the poll since "no circumcision whatsoever" wasn't an option. If you google this, you'll find tons of information. There's no valid medical reason to cut skin and nerve endings from the head of one's penis. Amazingly, millions of people are willing to do it to their children without so much as Googling it, very sad.

My question is intended to provide information - that there is more than one type of circumcision - and to develop information as to who has what.

I'm circumcised, full and tight I guess. I love the way it looks. My women over the years have like the way it looked...and tasted. Some have said that they wouldn't go down on an uncut cock. Whew! I can't imagine going through life without getting a blowy.

I was told years ago that circumcision was to promote good hygine.

 

It has been proven from massive studies done in Africa recently that circumcision lessens the transmission of STDs, as the viruses are often trapped under the foreskin when the penis goes soft after intercourse and enters the body through the underside of the foreskin, which has recovered the glans. It has also been shown by studies of men circumcised in adulthood after sexual experience both uncut and cut that there is no difference in the male sexual satisfaction after the circumcision.

This new format seems to have eliminated the poll results, which is the point of this thread. From memory, about 30% of those who posted had tight cuts, 50% had regular cuts and 20% had loose cuts. If you can find the poll let me know.

 

I'm female, so I don't have a penis, but I've had experiences with 4 different guys.

My first boyfriend in college was circumcised "tight" as you call it. He lubed all the time for anything we did except full on sex and he had a really smooth penis and everything. He was a really good fucker too.

My second boyfriend wasn't cut and he was horrible in bed. He had a much larger than average penis too and didn't know how to use it!

Both my husband and a guy I hooked up with a few times when I was single are circumcised but not super tightly. My husband's dick when soft has a little bunch of skin right behind the head.

 

Regular, from the east coast, united states. I had it done for legit medical reasons when I was 14.

In my experience, everything you see here about loss of nerves due to circumcision on here is complete bull, too.

And yeah, I'm fine with it - it's a lot better this way. Healthier, too.
