agreed. whatever right wing 'conspiracy theorists' would have you believe, they HAVE bigger fish to fry. of COURSE they 'know'. you don't think they watch this place too? of course they do. and yah, a lot of things they do are probably constitutionally questionable. some of them even potentially dangerous to the very things they're supposedly trying to protect. but you can bet you're life savers they also have to deal on a daily basis with things i'm sure very few back benchers have ever in their wildest dreams imagined. and being human, they're also not infallable, so yah, sometimes they do the very wrong thing, but its only when they screw up and get caught at it that you ever hear about it. snowden and whistle blowers are real and valid and protectors of the public too. but try to remember for every time the screw up and do the wrong thing, there's bound to also be many more times when they get it right. or at least we can hope so. and then there are the haters who oppose any attempt at fairness that doesn't kiss their ass. i'm talking about the rush limbos and orange julius chump.
