tye dying a long sleeve button up?

ok u know white button up long sleeve ones that go over ur shirts?? not this ugly but u know what i mean! well i wanted one and tye dye it? how do u go about tye-dying long sleeve things like these with collars and all? I never even tye dyed before either? hehe thanks!

 

I'd sujjest starting with a tshirt then doing one of these.. i wouldnt sujjest tieing the collars if they are stiff collars but if they dont have a stiff support then go ahead. Do it like normal tye dieing. Buble it up how you fancy wrapping with bands, string, pegs all sorts.... get a bowl of bouling water (i did it over an open fire at a festival) put in your dye and then mix and chuck in the tops, its good if you have lots of things you want in the same colour because it saves dye there are probably more efficient ways of doing it but thats how i did it.
