I least have always found it odd, or at least ironic, that two is the only even prime number. Yes, I know the reason why. It's because every other non-prime number is divisible by two. But it still seems odd to me. Any other thoughts on this? And anything else to add to what I just said? IAE thank you for your kindly replies .
It feels like 2 is only included as a technicality of the definition and not function. 1 is not included in prime but at least 1 can not be divided into 2 whole numbers. Which I would say is a more important feature of primes. When it comes to primes, 2 is the odd one.
